'Whats the Next Action?' my new Mantra!
ianmcc | Jul 30 2006
Well I was only 3/4 of the way through the book, and I was trying to implement GTD in my life... Sounds like a few people do it this way... But on Thursday I was looking at my Next Actionables and thought " what's the difference between this and a glorified To Do List?".... But that's when I read to the section that revealed my NEW mantra: [="4"]"What's the Next Action?"[/] Using that question in determining my next actions is the "lightbulb switching on" for me... Now I get it! I am able to really determine what my next actions will be, many entries on my list were not really Actionable... Now they are! To think this is introduce near the END of the book! Should have been in the begining. :) I mean that line should be on a T shirt, not "mind like water"!:) 3 Comments
