Undergraduate GTD

I am going to be starting my Sophomore year at university in the Fall and I am trying to get a GTD system together. I am currently reading David Allen's book. I have read the posts about graduate GTD, but I am not sure how to apply it to the life of an undergraduate. My biggest dilemma is how to manage everything. Also, I am trying to decide between paper, digital, or a hybrid system. I like the idea of a Moleskine and/or a Moleskine calendar but I also love techie stuff. Any suggestions?

All a sophomore in college...

All a sophomore in college needs to get started using GTD is a way to capture projects and actions (e.g., a hipster PDA or small notebook), an inbox for stuff you need to do, and a way to keep track of references (e.g., class notes, readings). You also MUST get in the habit or reviewing your project list. If I were back in school, I'd do this on Friday afternoon, before I heading out to blow off steam, and then again on Sunday afternoon when I was gearing up for the week. This would have helped me use the weekends better as well as head into the weeks with a solid understanding of what was do and how I needed to schedule my time.

As you get a beter understanding of how you work and what your workspaces allow you with regard to staoring things, you can make your GTD system fancier. Todd V would have your dive in to the middle of the pool, whereas I think you should wade in with a copy of DA's book that you reread from time to time to help direct your route into the deeper end of the pool.
