Same for the french, faire. Anyone know whether germanic languages other than English distinguish between do and make? I imagine they do; I'd guess we get it from anglo-saxon or norse. On the equivalence of "to do/to make"; I can't figure out whether "Getting Things Made." sounds right or not... » POSTED IN:
