Bag Organizers
R. Emory Lundberg | Mar 18 2006
Today I ordered a fleet of WaterField/SFBags gear pouches, an iPod supercase, and a CableGuy. They seemed to the best way to compartmentalize my assorted junk in my bag. I usually have two bags in my rotation: the Boblbee for my daily grind and carrying around cameras, a laptop, overnight/weekend trips out of town, and another bag for just around town and general erranding. The problem is that this means I have to sort and file and assemble various bits and pieces. It is my hope that this will aid in my swapping, since I can just grab the appropriate pouches based on what I want. Anyone else tried these? Anyone else found another solution that is elegant/stylish and servicable? 13 Comments

Anyone else found another solution that is elegant/stylish and servicable? I actually knit my own. It's a quick matter to knit something so small, and I can make it to spec, both in size and for need. For example, if it's to enclose an expensive item, like my cell phone or my iPod, I'd felt it (basically = "boiled wool" -- you toss the finished product in a hot-water wash, and the wool fibers grab onto one another, which makes a firmer, stronger fabric). Plus, I can choose the color...and the end result gives me a little happy every time I see it in my bag. :) » POSTED IN:
