Prodnography: Levenger Rope Case, Orange

I'm still a little surprised that the item that was supposed to ship 4/20/2006 arrived today on my doorstep.

Go, Levenger, Go.

So far I really like this case. I was really pushing the shirt-pocket briefcase quite a bit. I miss having the tuckable strips on the rope case but I'll see where I land in a week or so.

Which do you carry with you?

Right now the Rope. It holds more cards and still fits in a front pocket, though it is a rather tight fit, similar to a small Moleskine Filing book, but flexible so not as awkward.

It doesn't have the nice straps to hold a card on it, but it does okay as a writing surface. I like that it stands up on its own. I just like that the rope holds more. If the PB was just a smidge bigger or designed a little bit differently, it would be a better fit for me.

As my photos show, I use the "receipts" area on the PB as my Hipster storage. I used the other nooks for a few biz cards, some cash, blank 3x5's instead of keeping them in the back of the hipster stack, whatever.

The Rope is a bit simpler. One big place to shove cards. One small slip where you can put some biz cards, half-dozen blank cards, some currency, whatever.

As of today, I like the PB more than the Rope.

But I use the Rope because it holds more. And it is orange.
