Better To-Do List software tool?

Hi all,
iCal's to-do list functionality sucks.
What I want from a to-do list is to have a list of things that need to be done on a given day. A bonus would be to have them roll-over to the next day if not completed. It looks like iCal would only let me make a bunch of to-dos and set their DUE-DATES (different from the day they should be done on), and I'd have to see all 10,000 of my to-do list items for all due-dates all at once.

But the calendar functionality works alright for me.

Anyone know if there's a third-party plugin or some alternative that would give me more useful to-do list functionality? Thanks,
~jason

I've been using a program...

I've been using a program called Process 2 by Jumsoft. It lets you set a start date as well as a due date for tasks, which may be what you're looking for. It's still in beta, and has some rough edges (strange keyboard shortcuts for one), and it costs $39, but its working well for me.
