Mail View Help

Hello all,

I'm writing because of a problem with Apple Mail. I recently discovered Mail Act-On and Mail Tags (check them out here if you haven't yet) and subsequently gave up on my endless inbox of doom.

I organize my mail into various folders (if curious I'll share my overall organizing scheme in another post) and I use Mail Tags to generate Smart Folders for "Do This" "Reply to" and "Hold on" email.

I process my mail in a smart folder called "This Week" which collects all the mail recieved in the last 7 days. It is remarkably helpful to have the "mailbox" column on when viewing messeges in this folder, it lets me know if I've processed the message and if it was processed correctly.

My problem is that Mail refuses to remember my preference for the "Mailbox" column in Smart Folders. Whenever I leave the smart folder, or open Mail at start up, "This Week" shows only the "From" "Subject" and "Date Recieved" columns.

Is there any way to teach Mail to remember to show that column for Smart Folders?

Thanks for your ears, and for all of the great advice I've gotten from 43 Folders.

As of 10.4.3 this was not fixed. If you are on 10.4.5 and still having problems with it, then I suspect it is still not fixed. Check the post here.
