iCal: how to delete all events in a date range?

Title says it all.

I've just started using kGTD & iCal. In addition to managing ToDo's and appt's, I use iCal to keep a log of how I spend my (genuinely) productive hours.

So iCal has been getting bigger and slower, and I'd like to lighten my load.

It's easy to archive iCal by making a backup. But how do I delete, say, all events before a certain date?

Thanks.

Victor

Remove Old Events Smaller calendars are generally zippier. If your calendar files are crammed, consider removing old items. To do so, save a copy of each calendar file by selecting it and choosing File: Export. Then choose iCal: Preferences, click on the Advanced button in the toolbar, and select the Delete Events _ Days After They Have Passed and Delete To Do Items _ Days After They Are Completed options, entering a number of days you?re comfortable with (see ?Lean and Mean?). The next time you open iCal, it will purge the old events from your calendar.

Make sure you backup before trying! Good luck.
