Bamboo Shoots under Fingernails? No, too good for this guy.

Whoever invented this psychotic "feature" for cell phones to play music at callers while they wait for some idiot to answer the damn phone should be tortured within an inch of his or her life many times over. This is the most irritating thing about cell phones that I have come across! (And I used to be a barista at Starbucks, epicenter of cell phone faux pas.)

Does anyone know who invented this insanity? And the address of said person?

South Korea's SK Telecom, the first carrier to launch ringback tones in spring 2002, is reporting revenue that exceeds that from its ring tone offerings.

Gee I wonder why? Could it be because only an idiot would buy a ringtone from their operator, since you can just make your own? Ringback tones are operator-dependant, so they have you completely captive.
