hola hello howdy-ho

hola a todos amigos nuevos
(hello to all new friends)

J/K: my spanish is terrible, lol. but good 'nuff.
here's a bit about me:

  1. i found 43Folders while browsing Lifehacker and read many many worthy subjects.
  2. since then, ive bought the book, 'GTD' and 'Ready for Anything:52 productivity principles for work & life'. (GTD is about 60% complete while Ready for Anything is close to 10%) my inabilities to complete projects and remain at attention made me beleive i am/was add/adhd
  3. i've learned the value of some wikis (TiddlyWiki first, followed by GTD TiddlyWiki and MonkeyGTD). monkeyGTD is my fave though.
  4. i've learned to rely on my smartphone a WHOLE lot more. ive got the voice-recorder on speed-dial :)
  5. my inabilities and self-awareness led me to beleive that i am ADD/ADHD, so i went to a Psychologist (make a long story short) i am NOT add/adhd, instead i am hypomanic/bipolar - which led to my first depressive phase in my life.
  6. the Dr. evaluation states that i am above average IQ, above 97% of population. so, being hypomanic/bipolar has its pluses i suppose.

well, there's tons more about me i'd like to share with everyone here.
ive learned SO much thanks to the advice offered by others and the life stories and opinions shared. it has helped me TREMENDOUSLY with coping.

although i do place great faith and trust in the psychologist that evaluated me, i still would like a second opinion. so if anyone knows of a good Dr. in the El Paso, TX area, please let me know. the more i learn about my condition, the more i am lost - but have managed to cope and deal with my abilities.

thanks everyone, running late for work ;)

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless
