How are you using your Moleskine?

I was inspired by patrickrhone's suggestions on using a moleskine for a capturing device. I bought one, figuring I would use it - but at the same time I discovered the essence of HipsterPDA (I'm very, very new to GTD, have not even finished the book yet).

So I have my Moleskine, with some index cards in the back. Yet I find I am only using the index cards, capturing what needs to be captured, and tossing them in my physical inbox.

So what are you using your Moleskine's for? Todo lists?

Just need some input and advice. Thanks!

Moleskine for GTD

I covered this in another forum but...

I use two moleskines, one is a plain pocket moleskine for my inbox and project lists and the other is a weekly planner with the contacts pullout. I capture in the plain pocket and put check marks next to any item when it has been "processed". The last few pages of the notebook are lists of all my projects for work and home and someday maybes.

I use a Levenger pocket briefcase with 3x5 cards for action lists.

These three devices encompass my entire GTD system. Its low tech, complete, durable, usable, weekly reviewable, and fun.

Cranking

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
