If you're like me, you're checking sites like Nokia E61 going to be released, as in ship... actually arrive... at my door... Well, as you probably read on announced today that it has started to ship! The pre-production units they sent out a couple of months ago were bug-ridden monsters. Also, the Calendar feature is the same as every other S60 device, making it somewhat poor for GTD (tasks and calendar on S60 are very limited -- even moreso for Mac users) I think it is a very interesting handset, provided they have fixed some of the weird bugs it had. It may be worth waiting for a 3.x firmware before picking one up. The 1.x and 2.x revisions are notoriously bad. My N90's 2.x build had a memory leak IN THE ROM for crying out loud. » POSTED IN:
