43 Folders

43Folders.com is Merlin Mann’s website about finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.

How do I keep comments from printing on 43Folders Entries?

I would post this on the comments for "Testing the 43F redesign: Report bugs and comments here," but comments are closed.

I was wondering if there was a way to turn off the comments when printing. I know this is as simple as modyfying the print version of the CSS file, and specifying that anything past

is hidden. I've looked for a Greasemonkey script to try to do that, but I haven't had any success. Does such a thing exist?

I'm willing to bet there's...

I'm willing to bet there's a Javascript technique that will allow you to modify the CSS print file on the fly. But that's over my head. I'll do some digging, though, and see if I can turn something up.

Perhaps the best way might be with Greasemonkey, using the same type of coding.
