I use notational velocity

Not sure that’s exactly what you ask about, but to keep track of login and password for each account, I keep them in Notational velocity.

If you do not type anything in the search box, you have all your accounts listed, if you type any part of your account name or description, it comes up straight away. NV has its own password (that you can add to your mac key chain if your computer is safe), so your info is protected.

Yojimbo is your friend…

Yojimbo is your friend!

It has a place to store or all your account details and passwords. Your passwords in Yojimbo are encrypted also. I highly recommend Yojimbo. I use it everyday.

It also has a very handy shortcut fn+F8 to quickly add such details to Yojimbo.

It also does/stores a lot more than just account details. Check it out - http://www.barebones.com/products/yojimbo/

Re: How do you keep track of your online accounts?

I was using SplashID because it works on Windows, Mac, Palm, Symbian, and others (not iPhone).

Since I’m moving to an iPhone I went with 1Passwd which stores lots of info, can autofill login forms, and provides an iPhone sync.

Password Wallet is another for the Mac with iPhone support. No autofill though.

1Password, formerly 1Passwd, is your friend. The browser integration is a bloody lifesaver, and it generates passwords, too!
