lo-fi - keeping it tidy - thoughts ?
I’m implementing GTD using mainly lo-tech, ie, all my Next Actions, Projects etc are listed on 5x3 index cards (stapled together by category - ie, all NA@home cards together etc).
I just cross out items when done but the cards tend to look a bit messy after a few weeks (my dodgy handwriting doesn’t help !), to the point where it gets tricky to scan through them efficiently.
I did think about transferring everything onto Remember The Milk then I could just print out legible lists every now & again (and keep it lo-tech by crossing out / writing on them) but I think they’d only print out on A4, I’d rather have them on A5 at the very most.
Any thoughts re keeping things a bit more user friendly ?

I use Microsoft Word
Your lists of actions are just lists, so they don’t need any fancy tools or software to manage them. I keep my action lists in a Word document, which I update each time I process my inbox and planner.
This gives me a legible list, printed from Word, but keeps me free from needing some machine to manage it during the day.
