I am searching for an app to help me do this. Ideal Criteria: OS X Must include tagging I would like to add captions/notes to accompany media files Searchable Linkable (internally) Exportable Easy capture/input of media Any and all help is appreciated. While plenty of my work is electronic (easy - just close the folder and it’s handy to open again) a signifigant portion consists of large (11”X17” up to 30”X42”) sheafs of heavy drawings, and an associated stack of reference books, notebooks, reference drawings, and other cumbersome objects. read more » POSTED IN:

It’s in invite-only Beta now, but might be worth checking out. Mimic Backpack functionality on OSXjpepper | Nov 12 2007I really like the idea of Backpack (http://backpackit.com) where you can have one page showing a group of related files, to-do lists, and date-based notes (messages). I do not really use writeboard or sharing very much. I would love to mimic this idea on my local machine (OSX Leopard) so I’ve been trying to brainstorm how best to accomplish it. My initial simple solution is to create a directory where all the related files will be stored and then create text files for to-do lists and messages.
