Best mobile / cell phone for GTD?

Hi all, I'm going to upgrade my trusty nokia 6230i this weekend as I'm out of contract. I'm looking for recomendations for a good phone that I can use the calendar and tasks management during the day to sync with kGTD via iCal at home. At the moment I don't really use either feature in the phone as the screen is too small and fiddly, and the tasks management is just poor. Instead I 'sync' to moleskin day-planner calendar and index cards over breakfast. Any good experiences with mobile phones and GTD? I've allways had nokia phones: I like my UI quick, simple and clutter-free, but I am willing to switch brands if the recommendation is strong... I had considered a treo... any thoughts? thanks all, 4 Comments

I'm holding out for the T-Mobile Dash coming next Wednesday. I've been a Blackberry user for a while now, but have always missed the camera!! I use a hybrid digital/analog system using the phone mostly for contacts and calendaring and paper for capture and action lists. »

I think that as an OS X user, you might have to stay away from Blackberry and WM devices if you want a perfect sync. I'm not sure if it is all Mark/Space products, but the tickbox changes don't sync over to kGTD well with their Palm version of the sync software. Actually, from what I understand Windows Mobile plays fairly nicely with OS X if you use the third party syncing software (Missing Sync?). However, I'm stuck in a Windows/Exchange world at work. On a positive note, ActiveSync works flawlessly OTA so when I change a calendar item on my Dash, it changes in my Outlook without intervention. And I fired up Entourage (first time ever!) at home and I can see all my Exchange stuff in there as well. It's not ideal, but it's simple enough for me!! »
