kGTD quick question

I'm trying to be able to have a "Future" list, like Merlin shows on his post My kGTD setup. I can't figure out how to be on my projects lists, put in a "someday maybe" or something, and instead of having it go to my projects or next actions list, it goes under my future section. I know it has something to do with the + sign, but even when I do put the + sign after a certain context, it still syncs to my projects list. (I hope this makes sense, I just went cross-eyed).
