Does anyone know anything about this book? Is it a knock-off of the David Allen book? My guess would be that it isn't a knock-off but a superfluous supplement, the "if David Allen wasn't clear enough here's our translation" edition of GTD. I haven't read, seen, or otherwise encountered this book other than Brad's link, so TIWAGOS. »

I saw it at Borders on my lunch break yesterday. It's like an over-verbose version of the book with a lot of extra stuff thrown in. They must've thought DA's version wasn't clear enough. (For me the only difficult thing was the big-picture stuff, which isn't really addressed in the book.) I suppose the clear, concise style of Allen's book isn't enough for the people who think more is more. (Which sort of makes sense given some of the client e-mails I've seen that use whole paragraphs to describe something I could've described in one sentence.) »

I'm waiting for Larry the Cable Guy's "Gittin' er Done." I hear it comes with a killer software plugin for Outlook. »
About Chrome47Bio Brad Blackman is an artist and graphic designer working in the Nashville, Tennessee area. His paintings portray the geometry and architecture of everyday things that are easily overlooked, things that are ordinary yet beautiful in their austerity, form, and function, such as highway overpasses, turn-of-the-century storefronts, and enormous steel letters from a bygone era. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Hope. In addition to painting and designing, Brad also runs the website Mysterious Flame, which discusses ways to maintain creative momentum. |
