Quicksilver administrator authentication
Philip Sternberg | Oct 25 2007
I use an OS X setup with separate admin accounts with sudo privileges. When I'm logged into my usual, non-sudo user account and want to install some shiny new app to /Applications/, I can do it with finder by entering the admin credentials. However, the equivalent action with Quicksilver just spits out an error message, rather than requesting authentication. Is there a way around this, or is this functionality locked out of the current version of Quicksilver? POSTED IN:
