43Folders.com is Merlin Mann’s website about finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.

Rememble.com helps to prune memorable stuff

I started to use rememble.com to create an inspiring memory of stuff and ideas.

The problem was that I had too much stuff at my home which I didn’t need any more, but found interesting or worth keeping, because it reminded me on great things in the past. To get rid of this stuff around me, I put it into an unorganised big box which grew and grew and in which I didn’t look at anymore, but also didn’t want to throw away. Now I decided to use rememble.com for it, what will make it better. I will digitalise all this stuff, throw it away and put it on a timeline (‘membleline’), which can contain notes, scans, photos, videos and sounds.

I think it will be highly inspiring for getting ideas whilst flicking through it later on and that is also very nice at Rememble. I also can create groups there and share some ideas or memorable things to a certain topic or event.

Any other ideas how to use it in a productive/pruning way?
