Everytime I pick up a new Moleskine, I’m reminded how much I freaking love these things. I got a fresh one the other day at Flax, so why not mention a few new Moleskine hacks?

So, I’ve been trying some of the pens listed here, and I have a couple of questions. First, I bought one of the G2s, and I’m hoping it’s just the one I bought, because it’s a really rough ride. The lines are very inconsistent, and I feel like I need to grease up the paper to smoothen it up. The Zebra Sarasa is a little rough, too, but maybe it’s just the nature of gel ink? I really like the output of the Pilot VBall I’ve been using, but it does bleed a little, and it’s not archival ink. My bigger question, though, is if acid-free ink is really that important? I know they say it’s used for archiving, but is it really only necessary if you’re thinking a century or more down the road? Thanks » POSTED IN:
