Make: is O’Reilly’s new mook (meaning “book-length magazine”—not a frat guy in a backwards baseball hat). It’s a beautifully designed and edited publication about homemade technology projects for nerds. Kind of like ReadyMade meets Popular Mechanics. Issue #01 features the premiere of a “Life Hacks” column by Danny O’Brien and your author. Issue #2 will have more columny goodness from us plus a review or three from me. Seems odd to pay to subscribe to a magazine that publishes spelling errors in it’s initial offering. Word would surely pick up the fact that “studing” is not a word. Right? »
