Tracking Leisure projects?

I wanted to pick the board's collective brain about how you classify and pursue personal/leisure projects. For instance, I am teaching myself a foreign language. I carry my book with me a lot and I keep my vocab organized in a program called Genius on my Mac. When I do the practice speaking thing, I do that in private, usually at work when no one is around or at home. To make it more complicated, I am also in school, so a "study" context doesn't exactly do it for me since when I have school stuff to do, I don't need my personal studies knocking around together with it because it's not as important and will get backburnered until I get back around to it.

So, how would you track NAs for such a project? It doesn't seem to warrant its own context, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Others of my personal projects aren't so odd. When I am designing a new web page or tweaking my site's theme, that just goes into my @webdesign context. Perhaps it shouldn't since two of the sites are higher priority. Anyway, I'm rambling. I think you get the idea.

I've got two context that...

I've got two context that are actually duplicated, e.g., @Online- and @Online+, @Laptop- and @Laptop+. The + contexts are for things that are important to my research, etc., i.e., front burner stuff. The - contexts are for things that I want to do/lookup for my own amusement, i.e., backburner stuff.

I've even separated out my @Concentrate activites from @Home vs. @Housework, just so I could focus more on the higher priority items.

Finally, I created a separate category for @Blog, because those items would be the first ones that I can drop off my radar.

Hope this helps!

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
