Undergraduate GTD

I am going to be starting my Sophomore year at university in the Fall and I am trying to get a GTD system together. I am currently reading David Allen's book. I have read the posts about graduate GTD, but I am not sure how to apply it to the life of an undergraduate. My biggest dilemma is how to manage everything. Also, I am trying to decide between paper, digital, or a hybrid system. I like the idea of a Moleskine and/or a Moleskine calendar but I also love techie stuff. Any suggestions?

I have to agree with...

I have to agree with Todd V, try using paper for the beginning of your GTD system!

Why paper?
First of all it is cheap, but this is not the only reason. Second, one of the big advantages of paper is that you allready know how to work with pen and paper. You allready know how to make lists , I suppose :)
Third, it is easier to have a simple paper system than to have a simple digital system.

And for the beginning it is very important that you get the habit to use your system. I had the problem I wanted to switch to early to a digital system for my lists and got lost with all the web2.0 apps. I was consantly switching apps without getting anything done.

You have to realise that GTD is a set of habits which help you to organize your work and life, but these habits need time to become a natural behavior for you.

And may be you don't need as many boxes as Todd mentioned, it depends on the stuff you want to keep for reference ;)

Good luck with choosing your system - and write something about it on this forum because it could help others to choose their system.
