change log for computer?

hey all, I was wondering if anyone kept a text file or some other such file documenting how they changed their computer on any given day. I've been thinking of doing this for awhile, but I've always come to think that it was just too much extra work to think about. Any ideas or suggestions? sps 7 Comments

But if you're using SVN you don't have to keep a list. It keeps one for you. You can set a check-in note at any time and make a notation there if something is especially noteworthy, but you can always see what has changed and roll-back or replace if neccessary. SVN is fantastic for this. » POSTED IN:
