Thanks for pointing this out....

Thanks for pointing this out. I've been waffling around with DEVON, Sticky Brain, Mori, and even VoodooPad. There are certain features I prefer in each one, but I haven't quite gelled with any of them yet. Looking forward to trying this out mostly, I admit, because I lurve BBEdit and Mailsmith.

Okay, I downloaded the demo. The best features for me are the several different ways of adding info in the first place. You can apply color labels, although simply changing all the colors to white basically gives you a tag without your list looking like a rainbow. However, you can only apply one label per item. The major, cannot-live-without missing feature is custom smart collections. There are several pre-defined such as item type (note, bookmark, password, etc.), flagged status, and recently added (the criteria for "recent" is not adjustable). Impossibly, you cannot create *any* smart collections of your own, not even simple ones for each label. Anything other than the defaults must be a static, manual collection.

There are a few other things I would like to see, but that one is huge, especially for the $40 price tag. Guess this isn't going to work for me either. I think I need to learn to love text.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
