”What’s 43 Folders?”
43Folders.com is Merlin Mann’s website about finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.

From organizing thoughts to organizing files.

I'm trying to find a tool that will link files together based on context rather then just a keyword search. For example if I were to look at a products pdf file the program would also suggest perhaps its pricelist, emails, other PDFs from the same vendor or PDFs of similiar products.

I know it does not go directly to GTD in the sense of kGTD or similiar but would speed up completing certian steps involved at work, thus removing those steps from my list :)

That looks like you have...

That looks like you have to run it on a linux box though. I did not delve very deep into it to find out.

I have used the Google suite (Desktop, Gmail) for a while and it provides the searching that I need for files or other things. Plus it searches both your HD and the web at the same time.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
