(Sigh) Quicksilver Triggers

Ok -- no doubt I'll be hitting myself over the head w/ this one after I realize it's an easy fix, but I'm having trouble with Quicksilver Triggers -- I can't create any!

For example,

I have an ongoing txt file of books that I want to read -- I want to create a trigger that I can hit and it opens up QS with a blank typing space ready to append to that file.

So I create the trigger, (Books.txt > append to > blank space), set the trigger (I've tried shift-cmd space, shift-cmd B) and it should be good to go. But when I hit this, nothing happens. I thought maybe it was "Display show window" option, so I turned that on, and it just flashes a quick picture of a txt document at me.

I've tried creating triggers for kGTD, QS triggers, etc. All with the same result.

Can someone help me??

Thanks,

I'm curious now. Is it...

I'm curious now. Is it possible to create a trigger containing:
-the blank text entry panel
-append to...
-file.txt
?
or will it default to just a blank text entry with no other options selected?
