Inbox zero evangelization?

I’ve been using Merlin’s Inbox Zero techniques for many months now—processing, not checking. I like it and it’s been helpful.

I’d like to talk about it at work, much like Merlin’s Tech Talk, but I’m concerned that this is Merlin’s livelihood and I shouldn’t do more than point people to 43f and say “look at the inbox zero stuff, it’s good.” I don’t think that I could get my work’s training folks to license this.

Is there an appropriate way to present this useful tool? What’s the happy medium?

Brian

Re: Inbox zero evangelization?

Thanks for asking about this — I appreciate the consideration.

I say go for it. If you wanted to mention that you got some of the ideas from the site or the video and would consider a link back to InboxZero.com, that’d be swell.

I'll do it!

Great, thanks! I won’t use your slides from your tech talk, but I’ll make some of my own, using your suggestions for simple slides.

Then I’ll point everyone to InboxZero.com, 43f and the GTD book for more info.

It won’t happen for a few weeks, but I’ll tell you how it goes.
