Inbox ZeroThe Annoying Productive Guy At Work: Shaming Users One Color At A TimeDerrick Bostrom | Oct 23 2007I was recently put in charge of on-site tech services after a two year apprenticeship as the assistant. Surveying the mess left to me by my former boss, I’m amazed at how many open projects he allowed to grind to a dead stop on his watch. I suppose it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Inbox ZeroJohnny Baker | Oct 2 2007I just watched the Inbox Zero video, and I REALLY want to start implementing processing. My question regards on-going conversations or responses. Inbox zero evangelization?Brian McCaffrey | Sep 22 2007I’ve been using Merlin’s Inbox Zero techniques for many months now—processing, not checking. I like it and it’s been helpful. I’d like to talk about it at work, much like Merlin’s Tech Talk, but I’m concerned that this is Merlin’s livelihood and I shouldn’t do more than point people to 43f and say “look at the inbox zero stuff, it’s good.” I don’t think that I could get my work’s training folks to license this. Is there an appropriate way to present this useful tool? What’s the happy medium? Brian POSTED IN:
