Hey, does anyone know how to create a screencast? I need to create an informational/training video and thought this might do the trick. I know I could use the new keynote, but I'm interested to see if there is a better way. Thanks. 5 Comments

I've always stumbled a bit trying to record the narration at the same time as recording the actual screen activity...So, I was pleased just now when I noticed that the new (to me) iMovie (which is superb, by the way) has a voiceover feature - you can narrate any clip. Next time I do a screencast, I'll focus on the screen interaction only, bring the *.mov into iMovie, edit it down, and then record the narration. Because I won't have to concentrate on talking, I'll also be able to bring mouse dimming effects from OmniDazzle as I'm recording the screen activity.
