Vox Pop: What's on your iPhone app wish list?

Now that Steve has announced there's an iPhone/iPod Touch SDK coming in February, what's at the top of your application wish list?

The Question to You

What’s the first application for iPhone you’d like to see? Where’s the biggest hole in your iPhone world right now?

Perhaps not surprisingly, I'm hoping for a great, sync-able, no-internet-required task management application. Can't wait to see what my OmniFocus pals come up with.

My list

  • To-do list (something along the lines of Remember the Milk)
  • HandyShopper (a Palm application that is fantastic for lists of many types)
  • E-Book reader (bonus points if there's either a desktop converter OR if it will natively read .txt files)
  • Palm emulator (saw this in a previous comment and loved it). This would give us many applications right away.
  • Better Notes. Let me tag, categorize, or file my notes away with some sort of structure. Heck, even being able to sort alphabetically would be useful... And sync to my computer, gotta have that too!
  • Password Manager like STRIP or KeyRing for Palm! Encrypted for my protection, of course.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
