When they won't ship to a PO Box...
Natalie Jost | Mar 15 2008
Quick tip for those wanting to use a PO Box for buying things online… I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now with no problems. Every so often I run into some place that won’t accept a PO Box, but I never give out my home address online. With all the mapping apps out there it makes me nervous to think that anyone in the world could get an aerial view of my home in an instant. Anyway, I got a hold of the street address for my post office and use that now, plus “box no. 1234”. Sometimes websites are clever enough to pick up on the “box no” part and reject it. In that case, I say “unit 1234” and it works with no problem. And the post office always delivers it to my box without issue. 2 Comments
