Merlin's song recommendation"

On a recent TWIT / MBW show Merlin ranted about “the best song ever”. Of course I was driving so couldn’t write it down, but want to check it out. Perhaps by the Smiths? Something about “a bomb”? Sorry to be so vague! Ring a bell with anyone?!

Thanks.

Re: Merlin's song recommendation"

We were talking about the compilation Louder Than Bombs by the Smiths. I forget the song, but that’s a terrific record.

Although, I’d start with Hatful of Hollow or The Queen is Dead, personally.

re: the smiths

Ah, I thought it was a song name, not an album name. I do have the Smiths “Singles”, which I like very much, but hadn’t gone deeper in their catalog. Unfortunately emusic doesn’t have them so I’ll have to spend real money to get the albums.

Thanks Merlin, you Get Things Done and recommend music!

Louder than Bombs

My fave song on Louder than Bombs is “William, It Was Really Nothing”…but as there are 24 songs on this album, it’s probably not the same one you guys are thinking of.
