About CD booklets

I recently downloaded some audio files from a website. They are apparently zip files and show up on my Mac as .exe files that can't be opened without a Windows operating system. I have Vista installed with Parallel Desktop, but I don't know how to access the files from the Mac desktop in Vista to convert them and then get them back over to the Mac. If anyone could help I would sure appreciate it.

David Allen's Paper Planner

I had an 'aha' moment while listening to the podcasts about 'leaks in the system' today.

I'd thought, until now, of GTD in terms of organizing my online work - the emails and jobs I need to do for my website - and then realized that I could incorporate my writing work and personal administration things - home finance and suchlike. After looking at a mom's organizer with a 'what's for dinner' section on it, I realized that I could include menu planning - it's part of my job, after all!

General Reference Questions

Anyone have comments on the following? Are the issues philosophical, technical, style-related, other ... ?

1 - Why don't most (all?) task-management apps allow for multi-level sorting of tasks? For example, sort active tasks to the top, then sub-sort flagged tasks to the top of active tasks, then sub sort by due date - or some such scenario. I see iGTD can do this. I'm not sure about OmniFocus. Most other task-management apps don't seem able to do this.

2 - Why do so few notes/clippings managers include outlining capabilities? For example, DevonThink vs Circus Ponies NoteBook.
