I saw something recently about scheduling your week and all of your normal activities before scheduling your work. There was a "buzz word" describing this technique and I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

If anyone can remember I'd be grateful for a reminder and a URL.

I don't own/use a Moleskine or a hPDA. But I can see how writing stuff down can be extremely useful.

I haven’t read David Allen's book but I have read a lot online about GTD. A lot of GTD'ers seem to use one or both of these paper devices.

What do you recommend? Do you use both? Why? and how do you use them?
