Moleskine Reporter Notebooks, MoleskineUS Drool. Spanking new Moleskine reporter notebooks look really nice. Can’t wait to pick one up for myself. Looks like they’re very similar to the old-school classic Moleskine, but with the flippable top-binding and a vertically-oriented accordion pocket. The immediate improvement I can see would be for writing in cramped places—like the top of your thigh while riding the bus. I wonder if the binding allows it to flip over completely without damaging the spine. Anxious to hear what other folks think of these. Anyone tried them yet? Anyone have some Reporter specific hacks? picked one up last weekend in Holland at a local store that carries Moleskines and noticed there was no ribbon placeholder. also a tabs-hack seems less likely on this kind of skine, because it just doesnt feel right on it... aside from using it as a reporter notebook (top-down), you can also put it on its side and use it left to right for whatever you might think up i guess, landscape oriented illustrations for example. still need to get to grips with this Reporter format, but I think i'm going to use it as a collect it all book for all music/musiclabel related stuff since my regular skine is used as a GTD setup primarily. » POSTED IN:
