Wow. Everyone here in the MacBreak war room is still perspiring as we let it all sink in. OS X. On your phone. Damn.
So what do you guys think about Steve’s announcements? What surprised you? What else do you wish you’d heard? What do you think it will mean to have running OS X on your mobile phone?

Well, I’m excited with the iPhone, but have a big problem: I’m in Canada. If I am interpretiing the Cingular deal correctly, everyone outside the US won’t see this device, even in June, until Apple makes a deal with other carriers outside the US.
Basically, I really wish Apple would have created a non-phone PDA version which could be sold worldwide without all the wheeling and dealing.
Merlin: when you are on MacBreak and the talk turns to the iPhone (as we all know it will) please bring this up and discuss it. Heck, we who are outside of the US can’t even buy movies or TV programs off of iTunes yet making the Apple TV announcement a bit watered down for us!!
