Excel for next actions?

Hi everybody!

Well, being as low-tech as I am, I have an Excel question for you. ;) My HipsterPDA is no longer enough to carry on all my next actions, follow up, etc. lists. Do you think it would be helpful to have them on an excel file and just filter/sort them? Or do you think there's something better? Or if you have tips to improve my HipsterPDA use, please pass them on!

Hi Steve!

Yeah, the hipster's getting long because of my tendency on dragging on next actions until they die a natural death. I read once that you should decide on 3 things that you want to do by the end of the day and focus on that, and I have noticed that, roughly, I can get a couple or three "big things" done by the end of a normal day (giving room for distractions and unexpected tasks), so maybe I should focus first on 1) narrowing my scope, 2) getting those next actions smaller.
