Treo 650

I have the option of getting a Treo 650 at work, and I think I'm gonna go for it. I like that I'll be able to access email, web (limited), SSH (experiences with this?), iSync with iCal and Address Book. I was going to wait for the 700w as Palm OS seems a little... dated. But Windows isn't much better and there would be no iSync joy.

Any tips? Hacks? Recommendations for apps?

I'd suggest getting the 650

Other than the operating system the Treo 650 is virtually the same as the 700. I chose the Treo 650 for the palm OS because there was an abundance of third party software, as well as the long history of the palm. Being able to use all the previous palm software the range of options is vast.

In terms of must have apps check out: http://www.everythingtreo.com/forum/treo-650/essential-apps-2158.html

This site will also answer all of your Treo questions.

If your still debating about getting the windows handheld (700) version of the Treo, you might want to wait and get the Motorola Q Phone. I know there is a windows version out, but I'm not sure if there will be a palm version in the works.
