Address book, ipod touch and groupsJeremy Scott-Joynt | Nov 15 2007I've just acquired an iPod touch and I'm in love. One small issue, though. I've added a bundle of addresses in the past few weeks using the touch, but only yesterday did I realise that they could be placed in groups if you were IN the group already when you started adding the new entry. So there's a whole load of ungrouped entries in my (frighteningly big) address book. The logical thing would be to make a smart group for stuff that, say, isn't in a dumb group. But I couldn't see a smart group option for that. Any bright ideas? POSTED IN:

GTD Actions? Need a boostJon Trelfa | Jan 3 2008I'm not sure if I've started down the GTD path "the right way". I stay really busy ALL THE TIME and didn't read the GTD book. Instead, I listened to the audio book in my car while driving between home, work, and client sites. The audio book definitely has made me a believe in the system! You can imagine, however, how difficult it may be to implement the system when you don't have the book to refer back to :) Anyway, I figured I'd try the Outlook Add-In Trial. I'm on my second day using it and I've already cleared my inbox! :) read more »POSTED IN:
.bash_profiletycho garen | Dec 29 2007Hi 43f folks, I come to you with a bit of a question, a bit of a show and tell. I've been hearing since I made the mac switch like 4 years ago that OS X was the best thing since sliced bread, because "look dude, there's the command line if you ever need it." Sigh. And then I never heard about the command-line except by people who are all about telling me that it's the best thing since sliced bread. Well, I've dug a little bit, and I've made some progress I know how to get around, and after a few months of really trying pretty hard, I'm almost borderline competent. read more »POSTED IN:
