So who owns the idea of "In Box Zero"?James Mullooly | Mar 10 2008I know that David Allen is the originator of much of this (I've read the GTD bible a few times) but Kelly Forrister recently claimed that the 'in box zero' idea was all David Allen's during a podcast: http://www.davidco.com/podcasts/play/15.html I'm confused since I read about ideas leading up to 'in box zero' here a while ago and recently viewed our illustrious editor's Google presentation on the topic. read more »POSTED IN:

Nuclear reset for .Mac synching postPeter Garner | Apr 6 2008As per the last comment on that post, the post on the Nuclear reset for .Mac synching keeps reappearing in my NNW feed for no apparent reason (i.e., no edits or other changes that I can see). I would have posted this in the thread, but comments appear to be closed. Not a big deal, but it is mildy annoying, especially since I don't really have any problems with .Mac synching. (nyah nyah) ;-) Peter POSTED IN:
very low-fi hipsterJustin | Apr 11 2008I have been using a very simple single sheet PDA. I dislike the amount of 'work' that some of the PDA version require...taping card together etc.. This is a bit more open to chaos and is also designed to drive reflection / modeling of the world around us. http://dromologue.wordpress.com/the-modster-pda/ D. POSTED IN:
What to Do With Old (Digital) FilesJamie Phelps | Jan 23 2008This is a pretty simple question, and I have a couple of ideas, but I wanted to ping you all to see what you're up to on this front. My main documents folder (~/Documents/trunk for those of you scoring at home) is up to about 5.5GB. A lot of this is cruft. Some of it is from prior school semesters. Some of it is graphics files that aren't actively being used. Some of it is client work. (This should be moving to Subversion soon, however.) I'm sure some of it is even duplicate work. For instance, flat .jpg copies of a Fireworks PNG or Photoshop PSD. read more »POSTED IN:
