Our Most Popular PostsLeft alignment in sidebarIan Stewart | Sep 26 2007The A2 hosting ad and the Search Form are out of alignment with the rest of the sidebar. I'm an alignment nerd. There, I've said it. While I'm being anal, you might also want to clean up the title underline in the 43f jobs section (add padding or margin), and remove the redundant title "Online Users" from the sidebar ("Who's Online" says it all). …still love the design, though. Terribly Specific BAG questionsDino Corvino | Apr 1 2008Okay, so I am a bit of an obsessive. Would anyone know the maker of the bag in Reign over Me, the Sandler movie? Or more importantly the maker of the hardware that was the strap attachment point? I am trying to get a custom leather laptop bag made, and really liked that hardware. But cannot find it. POSTED IN:
Inbox Zero series extendedMerlin Mann | Mar 19 2006This past week ended up throwing me a couple curve balls, so I only ended up finishing about half of the Inbox Zero articles I'd expected to -- including the very in-demand "Okay, smart ass, enough with the hand-waving and tell me how to actually deal with these 5000 emails" post. Couldn't not deliver that one. read more »POSTED IN:

New user 10.5.3Brett Terry | Apr 7 2008Merlin really makes me laugh during those Mac Break Weekly podcasts, it makes me feel proud to be a 40 year old NPR-listening 2-daughter-having mac-groking software-developing tufte-esque music-obsessed micro-multi-tasking sailboat-racing productivity-oriented social-networking meta-meta kind of person. Best Clip Utilitiesrweisman | Apr 2 2008i have been a loyal copypaste user for years, but it's incompatible with more and more apps (like textexpander and typeit4me), and I haven't heard anything about it being compatible with 10.5. i liked copypaste best when it was pre-YType, so i am looking for a replacement that is similar and easy to use. i know quicksilver has a clipboard, but i'd like something with easy to use hot keys as there is in copypaste. Conversation View Based E-mailDrew Franklin | Nov 19 2007Like many things on the iPhone, I realized how much better SMS is on the iPhone after trying to go back and use it on any other phone. On the "other" phone, I lost all context for the conversation when my sent messages and my received messages were separated from each other, while having messages from other people dispersed in between. And then I thought to myself. Self... read more »POSTED IN:
iFlickr - iPhoto not up to the jobDom | Nov 7 2007I've been happily using Flickr for several years now, and a MacBook and iPhoto for 18 months or so. I use connectedflow's nice export tool, but crave for a better integration. Or at least, a workflow that fits my needs better. This is how I (clumsily) use the tools at the minute: read more »POSTED IN:
