Do you have a set of apps that do it all happily, or do you tinker with shiny new things?

I'll admit it, I'm an applications tart. I started off with Mac Mail, then heard good things about TBird, got annoyed with that... now I've switched to Entourage, and 'so far so good'. (despite the massive job of dealing with the hundreds of old unprocessed emails)

I've been tinkering with Wikis, signed up for BackPackit (no images on the free one....:( )and am beta-testing another funky task organizing ap. Oh, not to mention Sciral Consistency and Scrivener...

I went to upload my user picture, and it wasn't being accepted by the server in Safari 3.0.3 for OS X -- I got the standard red error on submit. I was able to upload the same file in Firefox 2 for OS X without a problem. You can get the image from my profile.

Workspace Survey

I'm going to the South by Southwest Interactive conference in Austin next month. Is anybody else going? It would be nice to meet up with some of you in person for a beer or two, so I can tell my wife that you people do exist. If anything, it will keep me out of the strip clubs all week.
