Laptop Inventory Program

I am a technology director at a school district in Texas. We are purchasing 240 macbooks for our students/teachers to check out at the beginning of the school year and return at the end. Does anyone know of good OS X software that will help me inventory, help desk, and check out/in? Thanks, Stuart 2 Comments

Try out Spiceworks - it does a great job with our Macs as well as our PC's, and has a useful helpdesk built in. While they require a Windows computer for installation, you could always use Parallels to run a vm to install it on. Once installed, you can access it from a browser on one if your Macs if you would prefer. You can't beat the price - free... » POSTED IN:
