Mac Mail.app: keyboard "move" folder select?duus | May 20 2008Hello. On PINE (my old mail program) I could file mail quickly; "s foldername" would file the current message into foldername. (I could even tab-complete!) I would LOVE to be able to do that on Mail.app: a keyboard-only way to file messages. Does anyone know of any way to do that? (Looked on Versiontracker, googled it; I found nothin'.) POSTED IN:
The popularity of that prime numberMerlin Mann | Feb 9 2005The recent volume of email, calls, and IMs about a single issue makes me think it’s time to state something publicly and explicitly: 43 Things is not related to 43 Folders in any way. Full stop. read more »POSTED IN:
Google Calendar on an Index CardMichael Smith | Oct 10 2007Has anyone ever figured out a good way to print a Google Calendar onto index cards. I can get something printed onto an index card, but its so small, I can't read it. I use Google calendar at my desk, but I have a Levenger International Pocket Briefcase and I would like to be able to print a weekly calendar to carry in my Pocket Briefcase. I used to use Airset and it was easy to do such from Airset. I have been on gCal for about six months and I have never been able to find a successful method for producing an index card version of my calendar. Anybody got any ideas? POSTED IN:
To Do List option for the iPhoneMatthew DeForrest | Sep 30 2007One of the complaints about the iPhone is that there is no way to create a to do list. While I don't have a perfect solution, I do have an idea that can get you started. Create a password protected blog and enable comments. Each blog entry is a "To Do" item and you can keep track of how you are doing on the project with the comments section. Here's the how-to using iWeb: 1) Create a New Page using the pull down menu or the handy + button at the bottom. From the template of your choice, select the blog. read more »POSTED IN:

Switch to OpenOffice? Pros and cons?Aisha Ahmed | Feb 27 2008In Pakistan, bootleg copies of software are the norm. When you buy a computer, if you tell the people who are setting it up that you want genuine software, they look at you like you're crazy. So you go buy a computer, tell the tech support guy what software you want on it, and take it for granted that practically none of it will be legally yours. read more »POSTED IN:
