lo-fi - keeping it tidy - thoughts ?direwolf | Dec 13 2007I'm implementing GTD using mainly lo-tech, ie, all my Next Actions, Projects etc are listed on 5x3 index cards (stapled together by category - ie, all NA@home cards together etc). I just cross out items when done but the cards tend to look a bit messy after a few weeks (my dodgy handwriting doesn't help !), to the point where it gets tricky to scan through them efficiently. read more »POSTED IN:

Merlins War on clutter thread?Eternal | Feb 9 2008Greetings, I found this site after finding "My War on Clutter" in a google search. I joined because I wanted to read the rest of Merlins articles on this subject. Thus far, I can only find the original thread and the numerous comments on it but can not find the rest of the stories/articles/posts pertaining to it. I have belonged to several other message boards and forums but apparently none set up like this one. I did not see a section on how to navigate the site either. Dear Idiot Future Self,Rúnar Óli Bjarnason | Oct 11 2007Man, there are a lot of calendar apps out there--Rembember The Milk, 30Boxes, Google Calendar, Yahoo, Remind--but none of them can do very well the one thing for which my brain is totally useless and with which my GTD system struggles: reminding me of things exactly when I need to remember them. The Ubiquitous Capture problem I have solved. I carry a hipster PDA (thanks, Merlin) and my trusty phone with Jott on the speed dial.
