New Messages Across All Forums?

The new 43Folders site looks great, as does the new 43Folders forum. But...how can I get a single list of all the new messages posted since I last accessed the forum?

The old forum software had a "Show New Posts" link, which showed all new messages across all the various forums. With the new software, I can see the new messages on a forum-by-forum basis, but I can't see any way of viewing all the new messages across every forum.

clarifying question on the "hipster pda" -- a joke... right?

Hi all,

There are some fantastic ideas on this site. Then there are some not so fantastic ideas on this site. When in doubt, I let my students have a look and tell me their gut reaction. So when they saw the (now aging) discussion over the "hipster PDA" some days ago, it caused some of the most raucous fits of laughter all year.

Document Managment on a Mac

Hey guys

What's your weapon of choice against a messy "Documents" Folder?

Just post a short description of what you do with your important files. Of course Tips, Tricks and any sort of recommendations are welcome.

Baskets?

I'm rolling along with GTD--at work I've gone through my initial collection to IN and then recycled, trashed, and filed just about everything (except a pile of stuff in a spare office that needs to be archived). I'm using Things.app as my task-management organizer.

Simple question: do you all use desk baskets? If so, how many and what for? I have a mailbox in the front where all my office mail/documents arrive. Do I need stuff on my desk as well?

How to keep e-mail and enclosed files together when saving to hard disk?

My GTD system has a weak point when it comes to digital project support material. I receive lots of files (.xls, .doc, .ppt, .pdf etc. etc.) through e-mail. I need these files to be searchable via Spotlight, so I have to save them on the hard disk. The problem arises when - and this is often - I need to keep the enclosing e-mail together with the enclosed file(s). How should I 'tie' the e-mail to the files on the hard disk?

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
