Hello, I'm relatively new to GTD. I got iGTD and am using it religiously (and have been for a few months) on my main computer (mac book pro). I just got an Asus eeePC to play around with, so no I want some way to sync my iGTD info with something on web that will allow me to look at it from home on my Asus. Better yet, if I could add things on that web app, and have it update the iGTD on my MBP when I get to the office, all the better. I guess .Mac does something like this, but I would rather not put out the money for that. Thoughts...? Thanks.

Been thinking a bit about getting rid of some old paper files I have and want to get them on a pc for the lowest cost possible.

I wanted to kick this idea around a bit and see if it fights back...

The problem: I have a cheap scanner and my budget doesn't stretch to a nice automated scanner like the ScanSnap.

Solution: My idea is this, scan the pages as images and ocr them. Ocr isn't perfect, as you all know, but as long as it can produce valid search text I don't care too much.

I consistently received the error on separate Vista and XP machines all running IE7 when trying to access the register or contact functions, and home page. I downloaded Mozilla Firefox in order to register and report it...

Application that creates shortcuts to folders

Where do I start? I am interested in learning about programming. I have been told perl, python, and other languages are the "best" places to start. I wonder if learning basics of applescript wouldn't be better. Honestly I don't know if that's the same thing. I just curious to see what someone with little time to devote towards this itch should do. Any suggestions?

I am an environmental designer (fancy-speak for architecture and related fields) looking to create a database of media - best practices, inspirational photos, links PDFs, text files, video, snippets and so on. 

I am searching for an app to help me do this.

Ideal Criteria:

OS X Must include tagging I would like to add captions/notes to accompany media files Searchable Linkable (internally) Exportable Easy capture/input of media

Any and all help is appreciated.
